Nursing Psychology and Social Work APA Division 22 – Rehabilitation Psychology is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Division 22 – Rehabilitation Psychology maintains responsibility for this program and its content. The program offers up to 21.5 continuing education contact hours (including up to 2.5 credits in ethics). American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Psychologists and Social Workers is accredited as a provider of CE by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC). This program was approved by CRCC (Approval #8926346326) for up to 21.5 continuing education contact hours. No ethics hours have been granted for Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC). Administrative Staff The Joint Program Committee of American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Nurses, American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Psychologists and Social Workers, American Paraplegia Society and the Therapy Leadership Council in Spinal Cord Injury was established in 2007 to develop an integrated conference on spinal cord health care. The 2008 Congress on Spinal Cord Medicine and Rehabilitation is unique in its approach of integrating the disciples of medicine, nursing, psychology, social work, behavioral health and rehabilitation therapy. The platform and poster presentations include clinical, educational, administrative and research themes. The conference program is organized into four concurrent tracks: Nursing, Psychosocial, Medicine and Rehabilitation Therapy. |
